Internationally renowned artist and illustrator,
Jon Burgerman, will create the winning story into a unique piece of art and the winner will receive a signed copy! How cool is that?!
Plus, we’ll forever use your story to tell confused strangers how we got our name. It’ll also be used on our brand spanking new website coming February 2015. Maximum kudos.
Long or short, wild or tame, we want you to get imaginative and tell us the story. Grab your chance to win this unique prize!
Get your thinking caps on and your quills at the ready, or just type your story into the field above. Once you’ve submitted your story we’ll just ask for your name and email address so we can contact you if you win. Then just share your story with the world! We’ll announce the winning story early next year, but follow us or sign up for our newsletter for random updates. Once announced, the winner will receive a framed, signed copy of the artwork.
This is a big deal for us, it’s the story that we’ll use on our website forever more. When someone asks us how we got the name, we’ll tell them the winning story. We may look a bit weird, but we love it when people receive the unexpected! We’re asking people to vote for their favourite stories as this will help us to decide, but it doesn’t mean that we’ll pick the one with the most cheesey votes. We’ll choose the story that fits best with our brand, is imaginative and creative, but most of all gives us the biggest smile.
Lost your creative mojo? Got writer’s block? That’s ok, take some time, think about it and come back later. Alternatively you can check out other people’s stories for a bit of inspiration.View Other's Stories
