We're called Rubber Tree because....Many cheese moons ago, our founders were on a gap year trip in South America when during a (b)rainstorm in the rain-forest they were hit on the head by falling fruit from a Sharinga Tree. The clever pair worked together to create a shelter from the storm using the Trunk of the tree and cut into to it to secure their future. They were astonished to discover that the tree contained a fondue like substance that was rubbery when it dried and instantly decided to call it rubber cheese as mild Cheese just didn't have the same ring to it. They quickly realised that Rubber Cheese was not only waterproof, but flexible, bouncy yet practical too and could be used to create many different things in different ways. Eager to share their discovery with a global market as quickly as possible the dynamic duo liquidated the tree's assets and utilised local knowledge to help them build a giant rubber cheese trampoline which catapulted them to success.
