In order to access some features of the website, you are able to link to your Twitter account. You are not permitted to use another user’s account without permission. When linking to your account and submitting your story, you must provide true, current, accurate and complete information about yourself. If Rubber Cheese suspects that your registration information is not true, complete, current, or accurate, or that you have otherwise violated these Terms of Use, your profile or story may be subject to suspension or termination from the website. We also reserve the right to terminate a user's story or profile to the website at any time in its sole discretion and without prior notice.

Intellectual Property Rights

The content on the Website including without limitation, all text, graphics, images, photos, computer code, software, scripts, multimedia files, , interactive features trademarks, service marks and logos (the “Content”) are owned by or licensed to Rubber Cheese Limited, and are subject to copyright and other intellectual property rights under Great British and foreign laws and international conventions. Content on the Website is provided to You as is for Your information and personal use only and may not be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, broadcast, displayed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any purpose whatsoever without the prior written consent of Rubber Cheese or as expressly provided herein. Rubber Cheese reserves all rights not expressly granted in and to the Website and the Content contained therein.

The person submitting the story retains all ownership rights of submitted stories. However, by submitting your Submitted Story to Rubber Cheese, you hereby grant Rubber Cheese a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable right and license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the Submitted Story in connection with the website and Rubber Cheese business, including without limitation for promoting, displaying, and redistributing part or all of the Website (and derivative works thereof) in any media now known or hereafter developed.

User Submissions

We cannot be held responsible for any of the information or content posted by users. "Submitted Stories" are not endorsed by Rubber Cheese, and we make no guarantee regarding the reliability, accuracy, nature, origin, or quality of any Submitted Story that is posted on the website. All stories submitted to the website are the sole responsibility of the person who originally posted the the story.

You understand that Rubber Cheese does not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to any Submitted Story.

Rubber Cheese cannot be held responsible if any Submitted Stories cause any offense to an individual, group or organisation.


  • You cannot submit stories that are not your own or infringes any patent, copyright or trademark. It’s assumed all stories submitted are originals and belong to the person who submitted it.

  • You cannot post any stories that may cause offense of any kind to any person, group or organisation.

  • Please do not use swear words of words that may cause offense in any country. If a submitted story does, it will not be added to the website.

  • We reserve the right to decide what submitted stories are added to the website.

The Winning Artwork

The winning story will be illustrated and created by Jon Burgerman. The winner will receive a signed (by Jon Burgerman) print of the original artwork. We will print 1 copy of the original artwork and this will be awarded to the winner. We will not print multiples of the artwork, but Rubber Cheese will own the original artwork. Once we’ve contacted and received the address of the winner we will send the signed artwork. The artwork will be framed and delivered via courier, the package will require a signature on delivery.


There is a voting system on the website which helps users submitted stories to be noticed by other visitors to the site. The amount of votes a story receives has no reflection on which story will win the competition. The Rubber Cheese Team have the final decision on the winning story.
